God has appointed and set a body of elders in "every church" (Acts 14:23) to oversee and take care of the spiritual needs of the flock (Acts 20:28 & 1 Timothy 3:1).
Deacons
God has appointed and set a body of deacons/servants (1 Timothy 3:8) in the church to watch over and take care of the physical needs of the flock (Acts 6:1-5).
Congregation
Christians are commanded to gather together on the Lord's Day (Sunday) to worship and praise God (Psalm 132:7), to partake of the Lord's Supper (1 Corinthians 11), and to have fellowship with their brothers and sisters (Hebrew 10:24-25).
The church is the people (Acts 20:28 & Romans 16:23) and not the building.
